Discover the breathtaking landscapes of southern Morocco on this 3-day adventure from Marrakech to the golden dunes of Merzouga. Travel through the High Atlas Mountains and the famous Ait Ben Haddou, explore Ouarzazate and the scenic Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, and spend a night in Boumalne Dades.
Continue through the spectacular Todra Gorge before reaching the majestic dunes of Erg Chebbi. Enjoy a camel trek at sunset and an unforgettable overnight stay in a desert camp beneath the stars.
On the final day, journey back to Marrakech through authentic desert landscapes, palm groves, and traditional villages, experiencing the beauty and diversity of Morocco’s southern regions.
Tour itinerary
Early morning departure from Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains and reaching the Tizi N'Tichka Pass at an altitude of 2,260 meters. Continue to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, where you will visit this magnificent UNESCO-listed ksar. Proceed to Ouarzazate for a visit to the city, including the Taourirt Kasbah and the famous film studios. The journey then continues through the Dades Valley and the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing the beautiful palm grove of Skoura. Travel along the renowned Route of a Thousand Kasbahs, discovering some of the region’s most impressive fortified villages before arriving in Boumalne Dades. Dinner and overnight stay. Distance: 300 km.
Morning departure towards the dunes of Merzouga. About 20 km after Tinghir, visit the palm grove before exploring the spectacular Todra Gorges. After lunch, continue through the palm groves of Tinjdad and Touroug, then on to Erfoud. Proceed to Merzouga for a camel trek across the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes and enjoy a breathtaking desert sunset. Spend the night in a traditional nomad camp among the dunes of Merzouga, surrounded by the unique atmosphere of the Sahara. Distance: 250 km.
After breakfast, departure to Marrakech. We will cross incomparable desert landscapes, dotted with oases... arrival in Marrakech, end of our services.
