Tour itinerary
After pickup from your hotel in Marrakech, we will take the beautiful Tahnaout road, passing through the charming Asni valley, then heading towards Ouirgane. Just before this picturesque village, we will take a detour into the mountains towards Douar Tassa Ouirgane. After a hearty Moroccan breakfast at Dar Tassa, the Berber adventure begins with our mountain guide. A hike through the Azzaden valley, Tizi Oussem, and Tamsoulte follows. Picnic lunch, visit to the Ighouliden waterfalls, and overnight stay in a beautiful Berber guesthouse. Trekking: 4 hours of walking
After an early breakfast, we will begin a slightly more difficult hike towards the Toubkal refuge (3207m) via a succession of trails that wind through the mountains. Picnic lunch en route then dinner and night at the inn or bivouac at the refuge.
Trekking: 6 to 7 hours of walking
This is the most important day of the excursion: the ascent of Mount Toubkal. We will wake up very early to head towards the summit, following trails and rocky paths that are challenging but do not require technical skills. Once we reach the summit of Mount Toubkal, you will enjoy magnificent panoramic views of the Atlas mountain range and the Marrakech plain. We will stop at the summit for photos and lunch, then descend to Imlil where we will meet our driver to return to Marrakech. Trekking: 3 to 4 hours of walking
