After passing through the Asni Gorge, a picturesque village known for its weekly Saturday souk, the road continues along a verdant valley where the mountains, impressive natural bastions, play with the colors… Halfway up the slopes, Berber villages with earthen houses nestle amidst terraced fields. Each village is huddled against the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, built in tiers. A succession of diverse landscapes and lush vegetation unfolds.

A mule ride to the village of Aremd is planned to admire the panoramic view of the Imlil Valley and Mount Toubkal… The American film “Seven Years in Tibet” was filmed in this region…
